Before I began work with NLP I was very frustrated with overwhelming anger, as I was experiencing difficulty with my primary personal relationship and was working in a new job that was challenging. I was taken through therapy processes early 2005 and became an NLP practitioner in Dec 2005.
During the process I experienced radical shifts in my emotional states and my self-belief and self-esteem. My life has changed since, firstly in my new role as an Executive Biotechnology Recruiter by the December Quarter 2005 I had managed to take my results in the new area of the business to 176% over budget performance. I then got a pay rise in January 2006 and then over performed to my new higher budget to 203% over budget for the quarter and the month of March 2005, with my current ranking as No. 1 consultant nationally out of the 75 consultants in the business.
Secondly, in the month of March 2006 I decided to leave the 4 ½ year relationship. Due to the course my life is now back on track and my self-esteem is at a whole different plain thanks to my NLP experience.

Workshop testimonial
Steve and Cindy’s, “Women & Success” workshop was a true gift! The old me did not have peace of mind. I was prone to unpredictable and changeable emotions and a ton of stress. I felt trapped and unable to make changes. That big black cloud I was living under was slowly but surely suffocating me. Things never went my way, ever!
(Now) I have been re-awakened to once again believe that it is the powers of my own thoughts that will help me get there, lead me to my success! There is nothing stopping me. I can clearly see the big picture and I know the direction I have to take. I am in the process of inventing a new me and a new way of operating and I am astounded and delighted at the new, positive me and so are the people around me.
I am in search of my many treasures only this time I know where to find them!

Thank you for a fascinating and powerful experience on Saturday. You did a great job of coaching the group through the day and you have a confident presentation style that I found effective, motivating and inspiring. I do feel committed and more passionate as a result. Please let me know when if you are running another workshop as I have a friend I would love to attend.

Why people do our workshops this is what participants from our previous workshop had to say
…To stop any self sabotage and stop making pitiful excuses!
I wanted to learn why I can’t achieve the same level of success in my personal life (health and well being) that I have in my career.
To move through some stuckness – interested in techniques…
To start the ball rolling for change.
To free my mind to achieve my goals to break down the ‘glass’ barrier I have in place which stopped me reaching higher ground!
To become successful in my every day life.
I didn’t really know why but I was pleased I attended not only for the goals I have set but for the women I have met here.
I wanted to move on. Now I can. Thank you.

Local identity, Jenny Keddell, has recently completed her studies in Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP, as it is referred to, is the influence of language on our mind and subsequent behaviour. “Simply put, it is having our conscious and unconscious minds working in harmony,” Jenny said.
“Most of us carry around unwanted ‘baggage’ – old behaviours and belief systems about ourselves that no longer serve us. For me personally, it has been a transformational process, and I was fortunate enough to be taught by a master.”
Steve Kormas, who was Jenny’s trainer, has this to say about her. “Jenny has truly mastered the skill of helping people to be the best they can be. She does this with grace and compassion,” he said.
Jenny said that NLP can be utilised in a number of ways – from improving communication skills to finding more success in our business and personal lives. Many sales people have found their success rates dramatically increased by learning how to elicit purchaser’s preferred method of communication and building rapport. “This form of NLP is both fun and exciting. I call it body language for the eyes,” Jenny said.
Jenny is now also a certified clinical hypnotherapist and is happy to dispel some of the myths surrounding this amazing form of therapy. Hypnotherapy is not a lack of control or a state of being weak-minded. It is an awake state of relaxation. It is a state of being in rapport with your unconscious mind. “Our conscious mind focuses on the ‘outside’ of ourselves and our unconscious mind focuses on the ‘inside’ of ourselves, for example, memory and recall of past events and knowledge. It is in our unconscious mind that our changes can take place.
Our conscious mind makes the decision to change, however the work is done in the unconscious mind,” she said. One of Jenny’s clients had this to say: “Thank you Jenny – your integrity and your enthusiasm, along with the power of NLP’s techniques has affected the way in which I view myself and the world around me.” There are many processes that can be utilised to best suit the individual client. |
